Whiteboards on mobile
André Mensink
I could like it if I can use it on my mobile phone. Now I use Google Keep but whiteboards could add some value.

I had no idea that this was not a feature when I planned to use this suite for my organization's needs.
This lack of feature is making me rethink my decision to use ClickUp.

I agree with everybody else in this forum that it seems a little bit like a trick question. As you're coming up with ideas, it's way easier to draw out and visualize and the change your drawing. The other nice thing is that I have folks on my team that take my drawings and actually translate them into hierarchies independencies, which is not my specialty hence the term teamwork. It seems weird that you can do it on a monitor that has no way to really draw on it unless you have a laptop that physically has a touchscreen. But most of us use iPads or things like that to drawn which they are the best compared to the subpar interfaces that windows has to draw on a touchscreen, and obviously Mac has nothing.

Whiteboard on iPad app
Matthew Griffith
As an owner more specifically visionary owner of a small company, I purchased the enterprise Version, Us visionaries Use whiteboards all the time to convey strategy and vision. I use three or four different types of vision boards/mind maps/logic diagrams/hierarchy diagrams/random drawings as I am primarily visual. It seems to me to be fairly obvious that the iPad is a perfect vehicle to convey these messages. I see many others have requested that the iPad or similar have the whiteboard function. Right now I am relegated to drawing it out on a real whiteboard, taking a picture of it and posting it as a filewhich is useless for collaboration and my company my folks are all over the United States. Whiteboard collaboration is a fundamental tenant for growth development, sales deployment, an area of other things that I won’t waste time on the obvious here. which is useless for collaboration and my company my folks are all over the United States. One of the reasons I purchased click up was because in your advertising, whiteboard 3.0, you mentioned this was a possibility yet emphatically it is not.
Please vote this to the top of the development list. You folks seem to be adding features at a rapid pace a respectfully request that you let us know via timeline when what you promised in whiteboard 3.0 will be available for us to utilize on the application. I will also send this to my representative for my enterprise seat.
Thank you for your consideration and attention to this urgent matter.
Kind regards,
Matt.

Enable whiteboard capabilities on IPAD. It is useful for drawings and sharing ideas without restrictions.

What would this help you accomplish in the mobile app?

Whiteboards on IPAD with the Apple Pencil would be a very useful addition. I don't know the other apps well enough, but potentially a USP.

This from Adwin Ang : "Using mouse and creating shapes is slow and not conducive to discussions. And drawing is naturally done with tablet because it's a lot faster than doing on computer."
- I do all my planning and whiteboarding on an iPad with a Apple pen, it is much more intuitive than on the web with a mouse.
Add the fact that mobile App users can't even see Whiteboards.

Can you tell me how this would improve your mobile workflow?

Joey I'm not sure if this is a trick question - it seems quite obvious. Being able to work on Whiteboards on the go or being able to write using a stylus would make things a lot easier for collaboration, or even just individual work. The fact that you can't even view whiteboards on mobile is the most annoying lack of a feature of your entire app from my point of view.
Joey
Dillan Lawless: Hi! Knowing exactly which features of Whiteboards or how you would use them helps us find the right time to build it. For example, if you only needed to see Whiteboards (no editing) then that may be faster than building editing and live collaboration.
I hope that clarifies, was not a trick question, just trying to poll users as I go through these requests 😊

Joey Seeing whiteboards is a start... it's the bare minimum but would still make a massive difference

Joey In a canvas environment like Whiteboard, being able to draw is quite important, especially for discussion. Using mouse and creating shapes is slow and not conducive to discussions. And drawing is naturally done with tablet because it's a lot faster than doing on computer (unless you have a drawing tablet for computer).
From where I am, I have seen users like Financial Advisors and some Lecturers (not all) just purely bring tablets to work without computers and utilise canvases like Excalidraw, Miro, FigJam and even Draw.io. As for me, I bring both tablet and computer because discussions is primarily done on my tablet and computer is purely for things I can't do with my tablet.

Joey At a minimum, see the Whiteboards in View-only and click any links contained within it (e.g., Links to Tasks).
