Using ClickUp in Mobile Browser
complete

Hello,
When we want to use ClickUP on Mobile, We're forced to use the App. But the App is useless in term of features and functionality.
My request is using ClickUp in Responsive view with Mobile browsers and don't be forced to use Mobile App.

This needs to be reopened. This does not work on any browser for me except firefox where i force desktop mode, but its super zoomed in. Tasks will not load in any view, the home and notification sections work still. The mobile app doesn't load anything for me either or is way too restricted to bother with on an android tablet (samsung galaxy tab s8 ultra). Tried chrome, opera, samsung browser.

Sky Patel: Today I found out that it works for me again on samsung browser. Go chceck it out.

We now allow users to access https://app.clickup.com from mobile devices! 🎉
We still recommend the mobile app as that is the most-refined and supported way of using ClickUp on the go, but we are happy to provide this option to our power users! 🙌
Note: This does not mean the web experience is responsive to mobile screen sizes, and we are not supporting bugs when using the web app in this mode.

Joey: hey Joey, it is great that you have done this but what I have noticed for the last two weeks is that when viewing ClickUp through chrome on a mobile device the tasks don't load, they just keep showing the loading dots flashing. For reference I had forced Chrome to A) open in desktop view and B) not open to an app which allowed full ClickUp viewing. I see this now still even through your new way of logging in via web only.

Aran Bates: Got the same issue. Found out that it works on Opera mobile browser. That is good because it works and strange because why does it not work on other browsers?

Maciej Słowiński: Thanks for the tip! Have switched to using Opera now instead of either Chrome or Ecosia.
It is strange though because for Chrome it worked (if you forced Chrome not to open in mobile and also not to try and open app links to the Android app).
Maciej Słowiński
Aran Bates: I've had the same experiences.
Suddenly, not knowing why, the lists stopped loading. Customer service suggested cache cleanup and reboot, it worked once but then stopped again. I used Samsung's web browser on a tablet, it has an option to display the page in full screen.
It was very convenient.
Fortunately, Opera also has a full-screen display.
However, it is a pity that it is not known why it does not work on other browsers.
Apparently not many people use ClickUp this way.

Maciej Słowiński: it is strange. I think it must be linked to the changes made to allow access to ClickUp on Web. The breaking of the web view (through our hacky method) seems to have also coincided in timing with the Android App no longer doing landscape view for anything other than for the list view (i.e. not for calendar or board view).
Thank you again though for the Opera tip, have now added it (instead of my previous Chrome version) to the homescreen as a full screen view like an app

Joey: i'm experiencing the same issue that are reporting the other users on this thread.
LISTS/Board views does not Load on mobile web browsers: neither chrome neither samsung browser
Arnau Martí
Hi Maciej Słowiński, have you fixed it on samsung browser? I would like to use it in samsung browser instead of opera.
Maciej Słowiński
Arnau Martí: No luck. I think it is connected with the last Samsung browser update. The update added some privacy settings.

Joey: does not work actually :
Arnau Martí
6 Stars Cleaning: opera is also not working for me.
So inpossible to use Clickup from mobile web browser. This issue should be reopened again. Joey
Maciej Słowiński
Arnau Martí: I installed Opera Beta just to find out that it does not working.
I got Opera on my tablet update pending, but I'm not going to roll it out. Now I'm sure it will break the list views.
I got the feeling that it's connected with some new approach to personal security, there are a bunch of domains to be allowed while using ClickUp.
Since there is no way to whitelist them on a mobile browser, I think new mobile browser auto security is responsible for this issue.
If anyone know how to whitelist specific domains on mobile web browser it's worth trying.

Hi, yeah me too would really love to have this kind of feature.
Up to a few days a go we from our team could you the desktop view from mobile browser, which was perfect on a tablet. But now this solution no longer works.
It would really be useful, so I hope you could either solve the issue with mobile browsers or add the app

All my team are out on the road and have mobiles and it would be great to have a fully-featured mobile app as you do for the desktop or desktop browser. Luckily I can work around it for now but in the future, a full mobile app needs to be done or the web version needs to be optimized for mobile phones. Great platform though for our business.

These guys worked so hard to give us a good mobile app because everyone was asking for it and I for one am pleased with it for the most part. If you guys need desktop view on your mobile device try switching to desktop view in your browser settings. It works fine on my tablet.
Maciej Słowiński
Frank Filippelli: Are you using clickup on your mobile browser all the time. For several days now, the mobile version of the site opens on my tablet, but list views are not loading. I wonder if anyone else has a similar problem.
Arnau Martí
Maciej Słowiński: same problem
Jim Pond
Does anyone know how I can force the browser experience on an iPad?
Jim Pond
Yea, this really needs to get done soon. The App itself is hot trash...literally the opposite of the desktop offering.
Ash Roberts
Jim Pond: Hey Jim! Thanks for your feedback. I love the passion. I would love to know what you think would make the mobile app better and more useful to you?
Jim Pond
Ash Roberts: easy. Just give me the desktop experience on mobile. I’d rather be able to login to the desktop as opposed to the app.

Access ClickUp via Mobile Browser

Is there any reason this request can't get a higher priority? The feedback strongly suggests the mobile app is weak. Why not simply allow users to access the web version on the mobile browser? This would be especially helpful on tablets.

Clickup for desktop is great. Just if would be possible that the mobile to look the same

Can't use ClickUp website when mobile application is downloaded

There are crucial things one can not do in the mobile app. One is click on a task and get the email address associated with that task so that one can send emails to that task as comments.
That is okay. My workaround was to go to the browser on my phone, log in to Clickup, click the Show Desktop Version on my browser. But that work around didn't work because as soon as I log in the less functional app launches. As long as I have the app installed (whether or not I log into the app) I am unable to use Clickup on my device browser. I even went into the app in APPS on my Samsung Note 20 to see if I could disable defaulta so the app would not automatically launch from the browser. No such luck.
If the app is going to have so fewer features than the desktop version, I STILL need to be able to use the desktop version from my mobile device. How else can I get email addresses for specific tasks without having to log into my desktop. I am going to Uninstaller the app until you get this resolved. Let me know.
