Unify Desktop and Mobile settings, status colors are different, custom field colors are different, and more differences
Guy Mannerings
There are a number of things that are not the same between desktop and mobile, which affects usability:-
- Status colours are different on Desktop vs Mobile. - Not helpful, as Status colours are set manually for a reason. E.g., I have set a light blue for a status, but on mobile, it is dark blue.
- Likewise, Custom Field colours are not the same.
- The "task completed pie icon" ClickApp turned OFF does not translate to mobile.
- Further, the circle task status icon is whole/filled in on desktop, and only an outline circle on mobile. - This (1) does not give consistency, and (2) is harder to see visually quickly (too much white everywhere, and the lack of a solid colour does not draw your eye).
- Custom Field ordering is not the same. - Whether pinned or otherwise.
- Task Type icons don't work.
In my opinion, the mobile experience should mimic the desktop experience as much as possible, and, right now, these things really stop this.
Please call all these things be copied from desktop?

Mobile layout inconsistency

moving across multiple devices for out team is difficult. Our team is struggling to use portable devices such as iPad and iPhone because some fundamental details are not appearing on the layout. you can see the attached pictures which show the clear layout of a desktop mask and the portable one which is missing to show the folder where the task is belonging. This is crucial for a dashboard which is gathering multiple folder. In order to understand where the task is belonging the team has always to enter inside the task and click on the info of the source. This is a demanding procedure for an architectural office which has the team working at site carrying mobile devices.

The inconsistencies between desktop and mobile, such as differing status colors, custom field colors, task completion icons not translating, circle task status icons appearing differently, custom field ordering mismatches, and non-functional task type icons, significantly impact usability and visual clarity; ideally, the mobile experience should closely mirror desktop settings to maintain consistency and efficiency, ensuring that manually set colors, icon styles, and field arrangements are preserved across platforms, as highlighted in discussions on improving UI/UX, for example see https://xxbrits.baddiehub.news/amouranth-xxbrits/ .

I can think about some more, like the dashboard/overview on folders, showing attachments and cover images on list items, and honoring default views on lists

I would also like to see custom fields available in mobile list views
