It's rather unhealthy to couple your app with Google Play Services, and it works against open-source alternatives, making everyone more and more in control by these mega corporations.

I would say it works OK on my OS which is derived from AOSP (Android OpenSource project). Just no notifications working (Play Services Dependency is missing).

Please take the extra step to care about people who cares and respects you and themselves. Those who know to when and where to draw boundaries when necessary.
