"Track Time" button upon Home screen swipe left
not on the roadmap

I propose the implementation of a "Track Time" button accessible via a left swipe on tasks directly from the home screen. This feature is designed to optimize time tracking by providing users with a convenient and immediate way to start logging time for tasks. By enabling quick access to time tracking without the need to dive into task details, users can enhance productivity and focus on their work.

Thanks so much for this idea! Could you walk me through a recent moment on your Home screen when you really needed to hit the timer instantly—what were you doing at that moment, and what about the current steps felt too slow or clunky?

Joey hi!
If I may, the all tracker experience could be better both on desktop and mobile. It is kind of ok but you can easily forget it (once it is set, or to set it). Having indeed a more visible button or even widget would be great.
May I suggest to also implement it in the notification center of Mobile ? (https://feedback.clickup.com/new-mobile-app/p/time-track-in-notification-mobile-phone-tablet)
Also it is possible to make a shortcut button for tracking time on android (see picture in widget center)
