WOW, i thought this was a new request... the problem goes back to mid-2022!
This lack of attention to what is clearly a major pet peeve, is the main reason I never use the mobile ClickUp, unless forced.
Too bad you guys spend so little time on the actual UX requests for the app, when that's what would encourage more to use it on their phone.
The haptic response should be optional, period. Any half-decent UX coder would never force a user method so blatantly intrusive on their personal spce... and it's a very simple program adjustment, too, which tells me that the developers are unilaterally choosing to ignore customer requests to fix this bug by referring to it as a "feature", thus relegating it to the bottom of the barrel.
ClickUp is a terrific organizational tool, i'm disappointed in the developers' lack of attention to this issue.

This is intrusive and for me it is a bug, not a feature request. Adding features without the ability to turn them off can lead to user frustration and may result in negative reviews or a decrease in user satisfaction. Providing options for customization, including the ability to disable haptic feedback, is a user-friendly approach and aligns with the principle of giving users control over their experience. For now, I will uninstall the app. It is so annoying the vibration on almost every tap, that I prefer to not use this at all.

Absolutely, this is a crazy feature not to have. Not only does haptic feedback use more battery, but its actually disruptive when using in a quiet space. And while i at least "understand" how having some sort of instsnt recognition for completing a task that makes the brain feel rewarded could be considered a design feature (though i would still like to turn it off!), it is absolutely mental to have it just for opening a task. The ability to toggle this off is essential!

For me vibrations are very annoying when I just want to check the task. Please add option to disable in app vibrations.

While tapping on buttons in the app, it vibrates which makes it really annoying because there's no option to turn that feature off.

Agree. There is no good reason to have them.
