We use ClickUp on Android tablets as the main workplace tool for our production employees.

We have successfully adapted ClickUp to manage not only projects and office workflows, but also day-to-day manufacturing operations. Production tasks, product information, equipment, safety processes, employee instructions and other operational data are managed in ClickUp, with tablets used directly on the shop floor.

One of the reasons ClickUp works particularly well for a growing manufacturing business like ours is its flexibility. We can design, test and continuously improve our data structures and workflows quickly, without developing custom software or hiring programmers for every process change.

The Signature Custom Field is essential for this use case. Our employees need to sign directly on their tablets when acknowledging safety instructions, job-related documents, training records and other internal documents.

At the moment, the lack of Signature Custom Field support in the mobile app creates a major gap in an otherwise very effective shop-floor workflow. Employees already have the tablet and the relevant ClickUp task or document in front of them, but they cannot complete the acknowledgement by signing it there.

Please add full Signature Custom Field support to the Android/iOS mobile app, including signing directly on a tablet touchscreen.

For manufacturing companies using ClickUp as a flexible operational platform, this is not just a convenience feature. It is an important part of moving complete production and compliance workflows into ClickUp.
