Task comments become something like a chat about a task. I use quick reply - where you tap and hold a notification and a text field to reply comes up - for most messaging responses.

This would be less of an issue if notifications brought you to a screen where you could immediately reply, however instead they bring you to the overview page, and require a tab switch and a tap in the text field. Not that inconvenient here and there, however if replying to a lot of comments it adds up.
