My Task page poorly designed
planned
Frank Filippelli
The my task page is completely directionless. It’s a very redundant page. There’s no reason why anything on that page can’t simply be put on something like the homepage for simplicity and consolidation. The homepage and my task page have been running contrary to each other for quite some time now. And the UI of these pages are so different it often feels like they are running on two different apps. Please simplify this experience, You guys are making the mobile app harder and harder to use with every upgrade!!

Joey this is also an example of how you guys can start simplifying the my tasks page to remove some redundancy and make it more usable.
Just get rid of the “my tasks” button because it’s unnecessary. We’re already on the my tasks page so we don’t need a button of the same name because everything on that page is already “my tasks”. Then get remove everything on the bottom of the page because it’s just adding unnecessary clutter. Finally you can just add a “personal list” button. I promise these changes would make this page far more usable.

Hey Frank, thanks for writing this up. Are you able to let us know of apps that do this well? We are trying to find ways of converging Home and My Tasks more because we have heard similar feedback in the past.
Thanks!

Joey I can't say for certain that I know of any app that could be used as a 1-to-1 comparison in this matter. But I'm an OG clickup user and I do UI & design for a living. So I would be more than happy to whip up a mockup for you guys based on the previous version of clickup which I thought had the highest likelihood of success with further refinement. Contact me and we can talk about it.
