if you have a look at this screen capture you can see that the mobile version has NO CONNECTION what so-ever between the main parent task and any subsequent subtasks....for us....seeing that we the same title with no reference to the parent tasks is beyond useless...this supposedly was being worked on and fixed TWO YEARS ago...as of today...the mobile version is completely worthless...enough with all the AI stuff.....work on the BASICS !

Personally, I use a system that shows me Top 3 for the day, Top 3 for the week and then Top 3 for a Quarterly plan. Except for the daily top 3, each of the others have an additional three subtasks. I'd love to be able create a layout like this.

Hey all, I renamed this post to more accurately represent what I am reading in this thread and what I am hearing in calls.
The core issue with My Tasks is prioritization and speed-to-relevance. You all land there, but the page doesn't efficiently surface what you need to act on next. Many of you don't want anything that complicated, you just want a list or view immediately available and easy on the go.
On top of that, many of the users I am talking to tell me that the current Home isn't very useful for them, since it doesn't tell the user effectively:
- What do I need to do today/next
- What is coming up
Does this all resonate with you? Let's have a discussion and we can make this better for all of us!

Joey Accurate. If you implemented that as your first sprint, then it can be reassessed for future sprints

Joey totally agree...when I open the mobile app, my main interest is to see the tasks assigned to me for the day and complete them in as few steps as possible.
Similar to the My WORK section of the web version where there is a circle check mark that would fully complete an item, I would love to see the ability to fully complete a task without opening a popup to adjust the status.
I do like being able to access the whole space, but my priorities for the accessing mobile app are like this
- FIRST: Check off tasks I have completed.
- SECOND: Make new tasks on the go
- THIRD: Access documents in the space
Thanks for continuing to make ClickUp better.

Just signed up today and LOVE ClickUp. Being able to sort the Today & Overdue by priority is the only thing I can find missing. But give me some time. :)

Joey is there a beta version here that I can test out?
Joey
Avi Reddy: We have a beta version internally being tested but it's too early sadly still. Lots of bugs that I don't want you to deal with!
Avi Reddy
Joey I’m open at this point. I have been asking to sort these Today tasks by Priority for a little less than 2 years now - so please give me whatever you have.
And is there a new ETA on the redesigned My Work page from the Q1 roadmap?
Avi Reddy
Joey any update here?

Better UI for Mobile My Work page

I find the ClickUp Mobile app fairly un-usable, and I think the main reason has been trying to cram so much, into so little space. Even though Asana has limited functionality in comparison, their app allows you to at least do the most important thing you're opening the app to do, complete tasks.
I would expect task completion being the number one focus, which in the app looks to be the "My Work" tab. The issue I have with that tab, is that you can't easily select a list to focus on the work you want to, or use any other filter, you're seeing a list of every task which brings in a lot of items you don't need to focus on. To select a list, that's not exactly a quick or easy experience, especially if you want to go back and forth. You need to tap the menu, tap spaces, tap the workspace, folder, etc....thats so many clicks just to select a list...in Asana you can see the projects from their My Work page, removing a ton of wasted steps. The My Work tab leaves a lot of be desired, currently it has "Personal List, assigned to me, comments" that take up a 5th of the screen.
If I had to picture the perfect Working tab, it would have "Reminders | Tasks | Comments" positioned horizontally as many apps do for tab switching, without icons..put that along the top, show an indicator number to know that outstanding reminders or comments exist so you dont check them if you dont have any, and provide a filter option (use the main filters that are included on desktop - list, task type, custom field, etc, etc). If you removed everything in the mobile app today, minus the create button, and provided just this, I would find it useful and able to get through tasks. For now, everytime I open it, I have no idea where to start.
Hope this feedback helps.

Hey, thanks for the feedback! We have a design here that i'd love your thoughts on. This addresses your points:
- Completion being too difficult (now a simple common swipe action)
- You want to select a list to focus on. These can be on the main page (My lists) or you can make a custom view filtered however you wish with any List
- Wasted space. You can remove what you don't want to see.
Take a moment to look through these images and let me know what you think.

Joey I have a custom saved filter (see below), can I use this to create a card on the home screen? (Without having to recreate it again)?
Bonus points if when I update a custom saved filter, it get's updated here too...
Thanks for the work on this!

Joey is there an update here or a beta to participate in?
Michael
Joey, I may be late to the conversation on this, but I would recommend the swipe direction be reversed, with the Complete action showing up on the left side when you swipe to the right, and scheduling and other options showing up on the right when you swipe to the left. I know CU doesn't want to be just like everybody else out there, but these are directions that are based on a ton of research and common usage in other apps. I can provide screenshots if that helps.
Michael
Joey, looking great overall - a much better minimalist approach! I would just love for the filter buttons to not take up so much space on a small screen.
Joey
Hey everyone. In December, I sent out a survey to learn more about how you want to use My Work on mobile. We have a design concept now that we want to get your thoughts on.
In this design, the '+ Custom' button would enable you to configure a List with any grouping, sorting, filtering that you wish, as shown in the last image.
What are your first impressions? Reply here or fill out this survey to help us even more -> https://click-up.typeform.com/to/fEhEvnLY

Joey Looking OK. Just hope you consider making EVERYTHING customizable from the get go, rather than trying to guess what I need on the page. E.G. If someone doesn't use comments, let them remove that block. If someone doesn't use Due Dates (we don't for most of our stuff) let us remove the "today" and "upcomming" blocks, in favor of any number of customized views on any number of (or all) spaces.

LBell totally agree, this is one of the overviews that are the most user dependent.

Joey is the custom button to replace favorites (that haven't worked since Oct)?
Joey
Tim Jasper: Sorry Tim, just saw this. This page will have favorites but what isn't working for you with favorites? You are free to email me at jcox@clickup.com if you want to share screenshots privately!
Joey
LBell: Super duper customizable :)
