Make "My Tasks" page customizable
planned
Frank Filippelli
The “My Tasks” page can be greatly simplified because there are a lot of redundancies that just add bloat to the page. To start, Just get rid of the “my tasks” button because it’s unnecessary. We’re already on the my tasks page so we don’t need a button of the same name because everything on that page is already “my tasks”. Then remove everything on the bottom of the page because it’s just adding unnecessary clutter. Finally you can just add a “personal list” button. I promise these changes would make this page far more usable.

My Task page poorly designed
Frank Filippelli
The my task page is completely directionless. It’s a very redundant page. There’s no reason why anything on that page can’t simply be put on something like the homepage for simplicity and consolidation. The homepage and my task page have been running contrary to each other for quite some time now. And the UI of these pages are so different it often feels like they are running on two different apps. Please simplify this experience, You guys are making the mobile app harder and harder to use with every upgrade!!

I would add to integrate assigned comments into mytasks because they are basically it and would be much more easier to find and address.

Being able to bulk-select and reschedule/change status from that My Tasks view would be awesome too

Would be nice to be able to filter away tasks that are past start date (my workflow doesn't have a past start = today logic)

Overdue tasks should be sorted by users

Hello, for someone that has hundreds of overdue tasks is convenient to have the option to sort those tasks by showing recent first, I spend a lot of time scrolling down hundred tasks to get to me most recent one at the bottom. On previous versions of the iOS App recent overdue tasks where placed at the top which is the correct way to place the m because usually everyone is working with current relevant tasks that become overdue 1-2 days and you can quickly find them and change due dates, there is no reason to see first tasks overdone by months or even years when you have the task volume that I or my team has, now on newer versions of iOS app is organized the opposite way, this should be a configuration option not default in any way

Appreciate you taking the time to write this up

My Tasks > My Lists needs to be sortable
Liam
It's a good go-to section but currently hinders the mobiles 'it just flows' feeling. The order of the lists here is different to the order from the web version.
A lot of people find clever ways to order lists on the sidebar, predominantly using emoticons and then sorting the list by A-Z. I don't, I manually sort my list. I understand this section on the mobile is essentially missing a layer of the hierarchy, the space level, but seeing the same order reflected here would tie consistency across web and mobile for me.
I hope others have a similar use case.

Manually Sort Tasks in Today & Overdue view

It would be helpful to allow manually sorting task in the Today & Overdue view, and have the sort persist across platforms, e.g. iOS, iPadOS, macOS, Browser. This sorting is supported in the browser and macOS client, but not in the mobile app.

Makes sense to me, appreciate the suggestion

One of my users experienced an issue in this view where subtasks were not appearing in the view. Example: 'My Tasks' shows 22 tasks. After clicking, only one task is shown, because the rest were sub tasks. This randomly resolved.. Joey

David Ramsey: Hi! Just clarifying – is this working now? Sounds like it but I want to be sure! :)
