I would like to be able to add/remove various widgets in the Doc view based on my needs/wants. Example: I don't have or use Wiki's. I would like to NOT see a Wiki widget in my view.

are we aslo getting rid of custom formatting and embracing Markdown, so we don't have to use slash commands to copy paste markdown-formatted content?
Joey
Back with another fun update for comments and chats on mobile. Go update your app, tell your friends, and write some fun comments and chats! ✏️ 👨🎨
- New Slash Command menu with access to writing Headings, Banners, Code blocks, checklists and more! Many of these have never been available in mobile comments before!
- Quick access to indenting, and inline formatting options (bold, italic, font color, hyperlinking, inline code)
- Improved reliability and speed while writing and sending complex comments
- Increased support for editing complex comments on the go
- Improved photo and video formatting inside of comment drafts
Still in the works:
- Undo, redo
- Spellcheck
- Improved draft management
- Pasting improvements, such as being able to paste an image into the editor
- Bringing this editor to Docs (almost done!!)
- Some quality of life improvements with Code blocks, numbered lists, etc to make it even easier to use
- Support to drag down the editor to close it (you can swipe down from above it to close, but we want to make this easier)

Joey Editing docs on Notion mobile app is super simple and smooth. It should feel the same way on clickup mobile. Then we can fully transition.
Right now it often takes too long too load and you first need to click on edit. Feels slow.
Also having shortcuts to docs on iPhone so you can quickly brain dump thoughts into clickup docs and then later have someone create tasks from there.
That's be perfect

I completely agree with this! Notion mobile app is so much easier to use on my phone and iPad than the ClickUp one related to docs.
It's extra steps to have to click edit in order to work in your doc. It would be nice to get to your doc and start adding/editing to your doc. Another feature that is nice on the Notion app compared to ClickUp docs in the app is that when you use columns the Notion app has a much better interface and view when seeing them on the app. They have them drop down under each other versus scrunching them into the tiny width of your phone. It would also be so helpful to have toggle headings and sync text.

Doc management is whack. Need the ability to drag and drop docs into different 'Docs' in spaces

Photo and video upload improvements are already a known issue, so I will not address that here. There is a frequent issue where links become corrupted when photos are cut and pasted. As more users are added, this kind of data loss is accelerating, and currently, ClickUp Docs has completely lost its reliability. Additionally, the inadequacy of the Table feature means that the use of other Table Editing Tools, such as Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel, is necessary. Due to these issues, content created outside of ClickUp cannot be searched within ClickUp, leading us to increasingly part ways with ClickUp.

Hey everyone! This week, we pushed an update to the comment editor in the mobile app. The new editor is faster, while having having more features, including:
- Rich text formatting like bold, italic, underline, strikethrough
- User mentioning with @
- Task mentioning with @@
- Doc mentioning with @@@
- Improved copy + paste
- Improved photo + video uploading
- More editing capabilities for complex comments (access by long pressing on a comment and pressing Edit)
- Improved sending with slow internet
Along with these features, we have more coming up:
- Improvements to the doc editing experience, including many performance enhancements and usability improvements
- Sending photos and videos at once on iOS instead of in two different spots
- More rich formatting elements like headings, banners, and more for writing and editing
- Expanding this to other parts of the app like Notepad and Descriptions (a bit later!)
Let me know what you think and make sure you update your app! 💜 ✏️

Joey extremely useful guys, thank you; we had gotten bogged down missing features like these (especially limited with comments). So we had temporarily moved away from using Clickup and went back to some more primitive ways, but that left us a bit feral 😂 so as you all continue to refine essentials like this, I will definitely make the bid to re-adopt. Cheers.

Please, make editing in docs and task descriptions useable. The size of font is incredibly small.

Guys! SO many users are using notion AND Clickup. CU is supposed to be the "One to replace them all!". Your docs are almost there!
- Please just polish the UI
- Switch to twemoji set. The current set of Emojis is horribly ugly/outdated!
- Add toggle headers,
- improve the ugly, outdated bg on the doc into a darker black,
- Clean up the highlighter colors to something more modern
- Ability to set Docs/folders icons on the sidebar as emojis
- Copy-paste instant markdown formatting, not just bold and italics, but preserving headers and header structures!
and you're all set! You'd crush notion! It's not hard! Almost there!

Asaad Abbas Yup, the only reason why I use Notion is because ClickUp Docs on mobile is so unreliable & inconsistent compared to the desktop
