After the last update (recurring tasks) I only see recurring-icon-circles. Especially when you have multiple tasks/appointments in a time span. I can't see which tasks they are. This makes the calendar view unusable. This was not the case before the update.

Please check how Google it makes. We don't need a recurring-icon-circles. But we need the task name.

If you want repetitive tasks to be specially marked, you can do it the same way as with the browser. See attachment.
