Edit descriptions in 1 click instead of 3

If I want to add context to a task I add a description.
If I want to edit a description I need to:
- click on the task
- click on the description
- click the edit button…
…and then it loads for a while until I can edit. also the appearance changes and has bugs.
Why not be able to change the description right from the first view like on the web or desktop?
It always takes a long time to load and click and load and click and load …

It would be helpful in Android mobile to be able to press on the Description and be taken immediately into Edit mode. Please update so it is an autosave functionality rather than having to press the pencil icon and then press the checkmark to save. Also, the Description editing on mobile is lethargic and sometimes I find myself having to back out of the task and go back into it in order to be able to continue editing a description. To be honest, I avoid using the Description as much as possible on mobile due to how challenging it is to use most times.
