Complicated date and time setting: Too much clicks/actions

Too complicated date and time setting:
Many clicks and scrolling wheels and pressing ok are needed to set the time and date of a task. I like buttons, they are quicker than the time wheel.
The minutes wheel is default at the current minutes, while most tasks start at the whole hour. That's inconvenient.
Please see the Samsung calendar app for a smoother time and date setting experience.

This is the most annoying feature that we have to use very often. Fixing time slots is absolutely ingratiating. I was not able to edit a time I previousy added, becaus clickup somehow blocks changing the time. Grrrr.

Thanks for recent attention and changes to the Android Mobile App. Please consider this topic of date and time setting, it's fundamental to the quick use of the app! KR

Bumping this back up, since over a year later, entering a the due date and time from the app is a hassle, with way too many clicks and scrolls.
I would intuit that many users would like to add tasks with a certain timeframe, 60, 90, 120 minutes from start to finish. It would be great if these could be set as options in settings, as well as a "default to today" due date setting.
Also the scroll wheel interface for choosing hour/minute/am or pm is just not efficient. I would rather type in numbers, or choose from an analog clock, or be able to place directly on a hourly list like on Google Calendar. There must be something better than the current app interface.

I agree - I think even on desktop the whole process of adding date and time to new tasks (or when rescheduling) is way too many clicks and too complicated.

Thanks for your suggestions! We will make sure to look at Samsung's calendar app for inspiration when we have a chance to improve our date + time picker. 🙌
