This is a blocker to start using ClickUp chat as Slack replacement.

This was one of the first questions I raised on my first support call. I thought I was doing something wrong in notifications as I just assumed the feature would be available so yes please add ASAP! Thanks

4 years later and you guys still haven't gone live with this! It can't be that hard of a feature and would increase all of our productivity!

I’ll join the choir on this one. I see it’s been in the works for a long time. My team’s vote is that this feature is a priority! Come in ClickUp, you guys are awesome! You can do it (please). 😇👊

App Badges on Desktop and Mobile

Why this isn't already a thing, even before chat existed, I don't know.
But to be a chat app that can replace Slack or other chat apps, it’s crucial to have the app badges to show pending messages. Not everyone is sitting at their computer when the notification arrives, so they won’t hear the sound.
Every other app on the planet has a clear visual indicator for pings, so there needs to be the same on the app icon.

Hi Joey. This says “In Progress”. Is there any news on this feature? This feature has become critical for our iPhone-based team. Thanks!

Use the red dot badge

All chat and email applications display a red badge with the count of unread messages or emails. For ClickUp, it would be ideal if we could configure what the badge counts. At a minimum, I would expect the badge to appear for direct messages and tags. I reached out to Support, but currently, ClickUp doesn’t support this feature at all.

I’m building a team and found ClickUp.
I like the all in one.
Once we get clients I would go premium.
HOWEVER, notification badges are critical on mobile.
If not resolved soon we will have to redirect our efforts.
I’m even okay with making it a premium feature. I get it.
But not having it in this day and age is like a having a paper todo list that is only helpful if you go back to it.
