Joey The new Apple Watch App is awesome, thanks to all of you that worked on it! It's just missing one vital function in order for it to really be of much use for me: the ability to change a task's status. Right now we can open a task and see its status, we can even "click" the status like a button. But then nothing happens when I wish it would open a menu to select a new status.
Thanks again for all of your hard work, ClickUp is the best!
Joey
Tanner Braden: Thanks for the feedback! You rock! 🚀
Task status changing is definitely on our list of future improvements here. The tricky part for me is conflict resolution. For example, if you choose to close a task with unresolved subtasks, there is a menu that appears on web to resolve this conflict. Not having that can be a bit confusing and leave you with a lot of old subtasks that were accidentally closed or left open. This also happens with checklists and assigned comments.
Once we have a better idea of how we will approach that, we will consider adding this to the Watch!
Make sure to add yourself as a votein the loopr here to stay in-the-loop and show your support for status changing! 📱

Is anyone able use the watch app? Mine keeps telling me to login on the phone, but i am logged in on the phone
Joey
Mohamed Hamad: Can you please try this?
- Force close the Watch app and Mobile app from multitasking
- Open the Watch app
- Open the Mobile app
Let me know if that helps!
Mohamed Hamad
Joey: had to close all apps. Open phone app, log out, and log back in before it worked

Mohamed Hamad: Forcing closing the app on the watch and opening it again while logged in on the phone resolved the issue for me

Please add complications. Speaking for the easily distracted in the digital world... making use of the larger complications on my watch to display the top 3 priority task would be a huge help.
Joey
Royce Welch: Planned, still trying to nail down when we will work on it though!

Luci N. are there any plans for a complication to be added to the watch home screen to quick open the app?
Joey
Reece Atkinson: Planned but not 100% sure when they will be implemented yet :)

Luci N.: So it can't start and stop timers? To me that's the only reason I'd use this. It's so important that I'd consider buying an apple watch if I could one-touch start and stop timers.
Reece Atkinson
Luci N.: Yes!

So, it has been released💡. For my needs it's O. K., I just wanted the Today section of My Work. Cannot use the voice for reminders, as Siri does not support Czech but that is me.
