What happened to this? I am about to find a new to do list because this feature was removed. Please bring it back asap

Setting an “Any View” option as the default launch page in settings would greatly improve user experience by allowing individuals to open directly into their preferred dashboard, report, or workspace instead of navigating manually each time they log in. This feature saves time, increases productivity, and provides a more personalized workflow, especially for users who consistently access the same section. For example, just like how a website such as http://www.tmsim.ph can be set as a homepage in a browser for instant access to important SIM registration updates, enabling a specific view as the default launch page within an application would streamline access to frequently used content and enhance overall efficiency.

To set any view as your default launch page, you can simply go into your settings and select the specific view you want to open automatically when you start the app or platform. This allows you to streamline your workflow by always starting with the information most relevant to you, whether it’s a dashboard, a feed, or a live update panel. For example, users who follow local updates and alerts might choose a page like Sheboygan Scanner https://sheboyganscanner.net/sheb-scanner/ as their default launch view to stay informed on real-time incidents and community alerts.

To enhance user experience, allowing a specific view to be set as the "Default launch page" in settings can streamline navigation and ensure users land directly on the most relevant dashboard or content each time they log in. Implementing this feature provides convenience, reduces clicks, and improves workflow efficiency by remembering user preferences. For an example of intuitive menu organization and easy access to key information, see how Subway menu prices in Canada https://menupricesincanada.com/subway-menu-prices-in-canada/ are clearly presented at Menu Prices in Canada

Can you please add dashboards as an option to select for the default view upon launching the app? Thanks!

More options for default launch views on mobile

It was this way in prior versions. Default launch is very limited in the app. How about expanding more default opening views similar to the desktop version and keeping that setting until you change it? I find myself utilizing Spaces/Everything very frequently as most of my usage is for to-do style tasks with timeliness.

That’s a great suggestion, Nick! Having the ability to set dashboards as the default launch page would give users a faster way to access the most relevant data without extra clicks, improving overall workflow efficiency. Just like how sites such as Subway Menu Prices Canada https://subwaymenupricescanada.com/ make it simple to view information right away, adding this option in the app would provide quick visibility and a more personalized user experience.

We had to temporarily remove this feature due to a bug. We are bringing it back soon!
Joey
Thanks for this! Would love to understand how this would enhance your mobile experience.

Joey I use the app daily to track to-do tasks. I've found the easiest way to view all my tasks in one place is viewing from the Spaces>Everything option. While the current setup gives default opening options to view a specific list, in order to see all tasks in one view, it requires opening the app/desktop and changing the view immediately. If Spaces>Everything were to become an option for default opening view, it would save users like myself from having to log in and change the view literally every time we open the app.

Having this feature would enable a way better client experience because ClickUp can be confusing and overwhelming for someone who isn't used to it and that's not a great client experience on my end.
