I’d love to be a ale to have a flow where I can type a task title, hit return, and immediately be typing another task. I could then go and flesh out the task more later. I use this feature in Todoist in meetings all the time.

Yes! It's so bad that you can't even set the default custom fields like they do in desktop. It makes for so many errors in inputting data. If it's in a list being sorted by a custom field and add the task to a section of say "weekly goals" as the custom field dropdown....it should automatically apply that custom field.
Ideally it would be amazing to be able to set a default everything per list that could be overridden if needed.
Also pinned custom fields don't even work to show up on the task creation. So it's so clunky and slow to tag anything except the basics.

Yeah, I really need to be able to add tags so I can sync tasks with my reclaim calendar! Can’t believe there’s not a row to do this during task creation on mobile.

It will be really useful to simplify tasks creation.
Before ClickUp, I used an app called Nozbe which have a very simple task creating.
The task description need to be simplify to because since the last update, it became difficult to had a description on mobile.

When I click "Add new Task" at the bottom of a list on mobile, all view-defining filters currently in force should be applied automatically to that task. At the present, the task sort of flies off into the ether, uncategorized, rather than continuing to appear in the view I'm looking at haha. This works just fine on desktop but not mobile.
This has probably been said elsewhere, just didn't quite see it described. Looking forward to the new mobile task creation features!!

Need to be able to add Custom Fields at the time of Task creation, and Custom Fields need to match the order set on desktop.

When creating a task inside of mobile enable us to be able to apply custom fields / tags for the specific space or folder / list. Currently it requires you to create it and then fill out inside of the task. I would rather doing it when submitting the task.
In addition to this for Tasks also allow the same type of thing for subtasks. It's a frustrating experience to than need to remeber what data points are not filled out.
Even if only tags were allowed it would allow users to start being able to use automations to really benefit and make mobile a go to for intake information.
This could potentially be game changing and make mobile app my go to for intaking data.

Yes, this is what Hotlist is. It also shows upcoming tasks. Asana integrates this feature already. At first, I thought that's what the CU icon would do the same, but it's much more complicated. Perhaps users can choose a default location such as Personal for those tasks or CU can create a separate bucket, then prompt the user to sort them on the dashboard.
