While our team is currently focused on other integration priorities, we want to assure you that this request remains on our radar. We are interested in adding this (and many other integrations) in the future, but candidly it is not planned for the near term.

Have a chat with Gary from MyCRMsim - he's already figured out a way to connect sms, personal whatsapp, & imessage to GoHighlevel - you might be able to tap into his system for Clickup

Hello Zach I think both types of Whatsapp would be great to have. The business version with API is a bit restrictive.
Algo I would add the ability to send messages to whatapp in the comment area too and all sorts of automations that could allow to send messages using the platform.

Zach Thanks for working on that feature. The WhatsApp Business accounts won't work for us as we don't have WhatsApp Business, only personal accounts.

The Business API approach is great! We've actually already built an interface with it. It's really helpful having customers interact with an AI through WhatsApp that can create tickets, handle requests, or show their tasks.
For personal account support, we're currently testing whatsapp-web.js as an alternative.
Bottom line: Business API integration would definitely be useful for us!

In Brazil, it's very common to use WhatsApp in projects. But since there's no native integration, information often becomes disorganized. If there were an integration, even with WhatsApp Business, where communication would update the task (just like it does with email), it would be fantastic.
