+1 I keep trying to get our team to use ClickUp Chat, but they don't like it, and prefer WhatsApp or Slack. I want to keep things consolidated within ClickUp, so integrations, or a better ClickUp Chat UX similar to Slack or WhatsApp would make team communication easier.

Yes, integration would make perfect sense

Hi ClickUp Team,
We’re a Europe-based team and heavy users of ClickUp – we love how seamlessly it brings our workflow together. One feature that would make a huge difference for us (and likely many other European teams) would be the ability to integrate WhatsApp into ClickUp Chat.
In Europe, WhatsApp is the dominant messaging platform – used by 85–90% of internet users. Our team maintains close relationships with customers, and many of those interactions happen via WhatsApp Business. However, not every team member wants to manage separate WhatsApp accounts, or bounce between apps for internal and customer communication.
ClickUp Chat is a perfect centralized solution – clean, collaborative, and deeply tied into our tasks and workflows. If we could route WhatsApp messages directly into ClickUp Chat, it would allow customer-facing teammates to manage all their WhatsApp conversations within ClickUp, while others continue to communicate via ClickUp Chat.
Here’s how we imagine it working:
• Customer support managers connect their WhatsApp Business number to ClickUp Chat.
• Incoming WhatsApp messages from clients show up in ClickUp Chat and when the customer support managers answers via ClickUp Chat, the answer is sent via WhatsApp
• Team members without connecting their WhatsApp can view and contribute only to Native ClickUp Chats and Threads
• All communication – internal and external – stays visible, searchable, and actionable within ClickUp.
Here is a examanple for the integration between WhatsApp and another Chat Plattform?
This would massively streamline collaboration, improve transparency, and keep our customer conversations tied to our work.
We’d love to see this on your roadmap – thank you for considering!
Best regards,
Philip Pircher

Just repeating what Juvenal Ojeda wrote:
"Whatsapp is a widely used communication tool, I think it's the most used in the world. Please, there must be an integration for such a tool, communication is important both for the work team that participates in the projects, those who give continuity to the business by solving support cases and for the entire team (depending on their privilege) to manage the visualization of interactions with the customer. In our case WhatsApp is used as the main communication channel with customers. In sales: Lead occurs on WhatsApp more than any other channel. Technical support is also available via WhatsApp. Therefore, it is one of the tools that we would be most interested in integrating with ClickUp and we hope that will be the case in the short term since it is very exhausting to be changing systems... but if there is another tool for project management that integrates WhatsApp it will definitely be my favorite and that of many other users, I'm sure we'll all appreciate it. We must have the availability of a bot, configuration of automated messages and the sending of mass and label notifications... And the possibility that if there are any changes in the customer's status... there may be an automated option to send the notification."
Here are some suggestions for the clickup team to use as a reference.
