Need ability to send notifications to specific channel based on who item is assigned to. Would allow slack users ability to create a private channel where they see only see notifications on items they are tagged on, or assigned to.

I hope it's also possible to push notify to slack when a comment is assigned to a team member.
Also, it would be good if the assigned person is tagged in slack (maybe if we work out a way to customize the @username ?)

Having a look at it - I must have early access or something, as this is what I asked for, but has been around a while.
There remains one issue with the notifications....if an action/activity in ClickUp meets multiple criteria - then I get multiple notifications via the ClickUp Bot for the same singular item in ClickUp.
See attached example.
Is this something that will get addressed?

Robert Hudman: Based on the screenshot you shared, it looks like you have enabled notifications for "mentioned" and "assigned" comments, right? So, in this case we send 2 notifications, because it could be that those events would not happen at the same time. But, we are working on Slack automations, where you will be able to setup "notifications" the way you want (or at least based on the ClickUp triggers that are supported). Slack automations are releasing in a a few weeks.

Yes, understand the setup. I need to know if I am mentioned in comments, and also if I am assigned comments.
HOWEVER - if one comment mentioned by name AND and I am assigned....then I am getting TWO notifications (in Slack) for the same ONE comment.
The ask here is for ClickUp notifications to identify that this should be combined as one Slack notification.
Same in ClickUp.

I would like to have all my ClickUp Notifications (Inbox etc) Slacked to me (and each team member) via the ClickUp App in Slack.
This would perfectly in HubSpot (Ref: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/integrations/manage-your-notifications-in-slack) and would love to do this in ClickUp.
Aim is that Slack is for all notifications.

Yes, this is what we need! When working with my team, we often are having numerous conversations at once, and it is easy to have a certain comment get lost. However, getting a notification for everything is defeating its purpose! If we can just get notifications sent directly to us when we are tagged (either ALWAYS but even better, for specified lists), that would be amazing. AND, if we reply to that message in slack, it adds it as a reply in ClickUp!

This is exactly what we need right now. Being notified about everything is overwhelming. One direct message from ClickUp bot whenever you're mentioned or assigned is all we need.
Please add this as a feature or in your API so Zipify or other integration apps can take care of it.
