I'd love to better understand the use cases and key features that would really make a Salesforce<>ClickUp integration helpful for you!

It would also be hugely beneficial if a connection to the Salesforce Dashboards can be established, to for instance display certain metrics of campaigns on the campaign card.
Would honestly be ground breaking for us!

Tadej Jevševar, amazing news! Let us know what you need for this to be successful

Hi Tadej Jevševar, I hope you are doing well. Are you the new Product Manager for this?
Tadej Jevševar
Hi Ryan MacAlmon, Yes. Thanks for asking. How can I help?
Ryan MacAlmon
Tadej Jevševar for this post I see the tag as under review. Isn't the primary integration delivered?
Tadej Jevševar
Ryan MacAlmon: Yes, in June we launched a new ClickUp Salesforce integration.
What's new
- Rich Link Previews of Salesforce URLs: Simply paste Salesforce link into a ClickUp Task, Docs, Chat (basically anywhere where editor lives), and watch it transform into a rich preview, giving you all the context you need right where you are. We support Link Previews for Salesforce Task, Lead, Opportunity, Contact, Case and Account URLs.
- Create a new Salesforce Task or Lead right from within ClickUp Search Bar: Open Search Bar -> type Create new Salesforce Lead command -> Enter all the details -> Click Create.
- Personal Connected Search for Salesforce: Search for Salesforce records directly from ClickUp Search Bar
- Salesforce App panel in Task view: The App Panel in Task View provides a consistent way to view all Salesforce links associated with a task, improving task management.
We also have a separate
Salesforce Sync
app available in App Center that offers:- Sync Salesforce Accounts and Opportunities with ClickUp
- Integrate Salesforce Statuses with ClickUp's Custom fields
- One-way sync where Salesforce updates are immediately reflected in ClickUp.
But we are keeping this board "open" because we plan on adding support for:
- 2-way sync of Salesforce records and ClickUp Tasks
- Salesforce automations in ClickUp
Please let us know if you are finding our current integration useful and if you have any new feature request.
Thank you!

Tadej Jevševar Thank you for your work on this. 2-way sync will be incredibly useful!
A few thoughts/requests/wishes:
- Filter/set criteria for which records are synced
- Set which CU list to sync SF records into; sync different records to different lists
- Sync Activities and Cases in addition to Accounts and Opportunities
- Somehow map SF users to CU users to allow record ownership/assignment to flow from SF to CU and ideally vice versa
- Enable syncing of text and long text fields

One thing that would be quite helpful is to be able to mention and link to records in Salesforce via @ lookup in CU.

Please integrate the Case object and allow for custom objects

Luci N. what is the status of this idea?

Kayleen Standridge is there an update on this integration, please? I have a team within the business that is going to purchase Asana for the Salesforce integration and we are trying to convince them they need ClickUp! A timeline would be greatly appreciated to help our case. Thanks!

Is there any update here? I am DYING to integrate my Salesforce opps into ClickUp so that I can easily keep track of my tasks in TaskRay and where the status is of campaigns. I currently pay out of my personal pocket to help manage my tasks, but it has become useless without being able to easily integrate anything related to Salesforce. Salesforce is so cumbersome and visually... awful. I absolutely LOVE ClickUps interface and tools and am beyond defeated not being able to manage my SF opps / products/ Tasks / etc. more easily. If there was an integration for Salesforce to ClickUp, I might actually be able to get our entire company using ClickUp and would be a complete game changer.
I'm BEGGING the ClickUp team to PLEASE look into this integration. I cannot personally pay for an Enterprise plan to access whatever small integration there may currently be for those users. But I also can't even test it out to pitch the idea to my company...
Salesforce --> ClickUp
Accounts
Opps
Products
Campaigns
Budgets
Tasks
I've attempted to do this manually so many times and it simply is not ideal in the slightest. I try to export Salesforce reports to accomplish this but ClickUp cannot/will not remember your mapping!! How on earth is there not a feature to remember/save the mapping of a particular import if the files retains the exact same format every time. It is absolutely ridiculous to have to go through the entire mapping process every time you want to import. My ClickUp has become useless because it is WAY too time consuming to build this stuff manually especially without certain features in place like the option to SAVE MAPPING OF IMPORTS.
Please ClickUp!! <3

Salesforce is a fine CRM, but it's task management and reporting leaves much to be desired
In one use case, Account Managers (focused on retention and upsells/cross-sells within existing buyer teams), create an Account Plan. We capture client goals, objectives, and initiatives. We create recurring tasks such as QBRs and Monthly touch-base calls. We create focused initiatives that have executive sponsorship (so task would be assigned to an internal executive).
In another use Case, Account Executives (AEs), focused on new sales, and new department sales, use a Mutual Action Plan (MAP) to keep the sale and implementation on track. Clients are invited as guests to view this mutual action plan. We use a template to create a new MAP so all the common tasks are pre-created (like agreeing on the design, technical scope, and signing the contracts), AEs can add non-standard items, like a specific type of infosec deep dive that not all clients would want. It would be nice to be able to view the MAP from within Salesforce, and even have certain required tasks, upon completion, to advance the stage of the opportunity (from an automation perspective)
In both cases, we create a Relationship Map. A relationship map is like an org chart which would bring in contacts from Salesforce and allow a Vizio style whiteboard to create connections, determine buyer influence, show by department, etc.
Our Sales Engineers, who do client discovery, could use a standard template to capture all necessary information for technical integration during the pre-sale. These could be notes on the Salesforce Account or Opportunity records.
Ideally, integration would start on standard objects such as Contacts, Opportunities, Accounts, Tasks, and Projects.
