Prevent tasks with the same start and due dates from being synced to Google Calendar

From support ticket: I am creating a dropdown with times to choose from and it is already integrated with my calendar, however, how do I make it so that they cannot choose a timefield that has already been synced to my calendar? For example, if someone chooses 9am, how do I make it so that someone cannot choose 9am again?
