I use the Outlook desktop version of Microsoft Professional 2013 Plus and can't find a way to integrate clickup with this version of outlook desktop. Any help or pointers are greatly appreciated.

I don't know if this is a place, or new thread should be created, but it would be very useful to be able attach mail to multiple tasks from Outlook add-in, because (at least in my case) mails are usually related to more than one activity.

cant load proper add-ins because it is possible to load from PC only. Where to get file with add-ins?

I've come across several interesting tools. Sortd, flow-e, etc. These tools show a kanban board directly inside Gmail. Allowing the user to drag and drop emails directly into a kanban system all from within Gmail.
Would be great if this was possible with clickup and outlook. Currently, one has to click lots of buttons to find the task that the outlook email is to be attached to.

Hi Tarun Masani, we use GSuite at my company. I prefer the Outlook interface and use GSync to syn outlook to gmail. However the MS add-in store does not appear in Outlook when logged into this account. Is there a way I can manually install Click-up to my Outlook account?
Thanks
Ross

Ross Latta: Hey there Ross! Sadly, we can only offer the Outlook extension for email accounts hosted by Microsoft servers. I apologize for the inconvenience here, but if you'd rather not use the Chrome Extension, check out our native email task creation here! https://docs.clickup.com/features/email-clickup

Tarun Masani: does this mean self hosted exchange servers wont work aswell? I have been waiting for a bugfix for over 2 months now...
T
Tarun Masani
Nikolas Schröter: Hey there, Nikolas! Self hosted exchange servers are supported as long as the server is running Exchange 2016+. Exchange 2013 servers will also work, however in a limited fashion due to limitations by Microsoft.

The team is reviewing some bug reports that have been received in the last few days, and I'll give you an update as soon as this fix has been released.

Tarun Masani: I'm glad I came back to look at this. The native functionality did not work when I tried it back in June, so I'd given up. After seeing it works for Ross Latta, I thought I'd try it again. It seems some changes have been made on one side or the other and it works PERFECTLY! Thank you BOTH for your question/answer combo.

Hey ! Loving the extension, although today for some reason it
s completely unresponsive and every time I try and type I get a message that the add in is restarting because it
s not responding. Is the update released today automatic or do I have to update it manually ?
Thanks

Tarun Masani: Hey Jorgen, unfortunately nothing has changed yet regarding my problem. I tried re-adding the extension to both the Outlook web app as well as the rich client but without success. Also, in the add-in store it is still showing the old version.
Nikolas Schröter
Tarun Masani: General UI shows up now. Attaching email content doesnt work though, the buttons just keep loading forever.

When I first added it to my Outlook 365 (Version 1901) a few days ago, it was working perfectly fine. Now it's only showing the loading spinner forever. Any ideas what I could do?
Nikolas Schröter
Jan: same, been waiting on a fix since release

Jan: Hey there, Jan! Hmm. I'm sorry to hear that you've ran into an issue here. Could you let me know what server your email is hosted on (Office 365, Exchange 2013, Exchange 2016)?

Tarun Masani: Hey Jorgen, thanks for your quick reply. My email is hosted on an exchange server that comes with my 'Office 365 Business Premium' subscription. It's a private account so there aren't any company restrictions set up. Hope you guys can solve this soon as I have been looking for such a feature for long time and really happy to have it!

Jan: Mine too! It was working earlier today but has now stopped. I'm on a hosted Exchange server.

I am using Outlook 2016 with our corporate Mail Server. Will this integration work for our setup.
Nikolas Schröter
Haris: Depends on if your mail server is running exchange, otherwise this will not work.

Nikolas Schröter: Hey there, Nikolas! We have found a way to allow the extension to work with Exchange servers. Stay tuned!
Nikolas Schröter
Tarun Masani: Awesome! Thought REST-AddIns were limited to Exchange though... might have misunderstood
H
Haris
Tarun Masani: Can you elaborate how we can achieve this with Exchange.
T
Tarun Masani
Haris: Hey there, Haris! To get the extension setup with Exchange, you can add the Add-in from the OWA or ECP panel. Check it out here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/clients-and-mobile-in-exchange-online/add-ins-for-outlook/install-or-remove-outlook-add-ins
