From support ticket: Recently Todoist had great email integration with an email app called Newton. Newton would aggregate multiple email accounts into their app, and look like the email app they were. From within Newton, I could take an email and create a task, link it to a task, or link it to a project in Todoist. When I was working in Todoist on either my PC or my iPhone or iPad, I could click on the email link and it would open the original email in Newton for review, response, forwarding, etc. Most Project Management Developers overlook the need to link emails into one of the buckets of Project Support Material, i.e. Tasks, Notes, Files, OneNote/Evernote Pages, and Team Communication. Email is a critical part of project support material. Since Newton Email shut down, they have been acquired and reopened.
