Hi ClickUp Team,
I am encountering a persistent authentication error when trying to connect my ClickUp account to ChatGPT using the native ChatGPT Marketplace integration (the new "Turn Codex into your ClickUp command center" framework).
Every time I click the "Connect" / "Sign in with ClickUp" button inside ChatGPT, the authorization popup window immediately fails and displays the following error:
{ error: invalid_client, error_description: Invalid client_id, state: oauth_s_... }
Steps I have already tried to resolve it on my end:
1. Uninstalled and re-installed the ClickUp plugin inside ChatGPT.
2. Cleared browser cookies and cache for both chatgpt.com and clickup.com.
3. Completely switched browser profiles and tried an entirely different web browser.
Since the error persists across clean browser sessions, it appears to be a server-side authentication handshake issue. The master Client ID configured on OpenAI's marketplace backend is being rejected by ClickUp's OAuth endpoints as invalid or unrecognized.
Could you please coordinate with OpenAI to verify if the marketplace credentials or redirect URIs need to be updated/refreshed?

Ahsan Misbah I have been receiving the same error on two different machines for 3 days. Have you ever successfully connected ChatGPT to ClickUp via the plugin? 3 days ago was my first attempt

Sparkz Bot: - that's correct. You can now find the ClickUp app in ChatGPT that you can connect and get answers from your Clickup workspace inside ChatGPT.

Ivan Villa We tried to use it and the API does not work properly (It will end up in timeout when retrieving Sub pages). As soo many things do not work properly in Clickup right now. A lot of promises, but really not a lot of delivery.

Joerg Sto thanks for bringing this up. I took a peek into this and it could very well be the MCP doesn't know how to work with the API limits correctly. This is on our radar to fix though. We have been doing some investigation into what we can do to improve MCP and beyond unlocking a lot more capabilities there is also making sure the MCP is more efficient in API and context usage.

Is ClickUp's integration with Chat GPT able to include within CU's interface all the sub-GPTs we use, like: ChatGPT - YouTube∑✏️ (Video Summarizer)

As well as our own custom GPTs we are building...
And so on?

hack
for ChatGPT is a shared bookmarks list with all these sub-GPT's we've saved. Can we do something similar in ClickUp? Initial testing indicates probably not, yet
Might someone have developed a Zap for this?

I'd like to have GPTs for specific purposes and the ability to choose a different model (i.e. o1), depending on the use case. I'd like to be able to create specific assistants for automation purposes, including the ability to change the role between Assistant and User.
Maybe this request could be rolled under ClickUp Brain upgrades.

When ClickUP Brain References a Section of the document it doesn't reference a direct link, even though the document has a table of contents. It would be a great improvement if one could go directly to the right section of the document from the link generated by Clickup Brain
