Google calendar integration. Create events on non-primary calendars
Francesca Angemi
At this time, ClickUp only supports creating events on primary Google Calendar. It is very important for me to be able to create events on non-primary calendars.

Actually I am able to add my tasks to a non-primary calendar just fine. It took me a couple days to figure it out. I just created a new google calendar called "ClickUp", then made these changes:
- In your Google Calendar, create a new calendar.
- In ClickUp, click More... Integrations... Google Calendar, and for each tasklist that are synced to my calendar I click the calendar option and pull down the list of calendars and choose "ClickUp" as the calendar that list is using. (I also turn off the "Only tasks assigned to me" since I'm just using ClickUp for personal use.)
- Then I go to Planner and click the Calendar button in the top right and make sure the primary calendar AND the "ClickUp" calendar are chosen so that I see both calendars in one calendar view.
I also remember setting the default calendar to the ClickUp calendar, but now I can't find that setting. It's possible that I went back and set up the calendar from scratch again, but this time chose ClickUp as the default. In any case, on the Planner page and the Calendar views (for my task lists) I see both calendars.
Anyway, this setup keeps all my ClickUp tasks in a separate calendar so they don't mess with my primary calendar. And on other devices when I'm looking at my regular calendar I can toggle on/off the ClickUp calendar to make its entries appear/disappear from my primary calendar.
