Yes please, a TRUE integration.
We have an Enterprise account and so, we do get a full integration but only for 2 accounts for the entire organization which does not work for us.
The current integration is messy, it basically only captures 'screenshots" of the email with no actualization within the task and the display in the Comment section is so messy that is borderline unusable.
Trello has a power up (third party app) that made the Gmail integration AMAZING. If that could be achieved in CU that would be a total game changer!
Thank you!

Brendan W please merge this with https://clickup.canny.io/integrations/p/gmail-1

This could be the only missing point to have ClickUp as a Sunsama alternative, having in one place tasks, any calendar (integrations already exists) and the mailbox.

Yes please do add this!!

pls pls plssssss - love integrations of emails into a task, but I'm still needing to use an email platform to manage the other things which don't need a task (like quick replies or a task I complete as soon as I get the email). Would be great to manage my emails from within clickup instead - and easily assign to a task, create a task, or reply and mark as completed.

It is as Nicholas Strand as said: though we can email to a task, responses to that email received in Gmail will not go the task, so the chain is lost and we have to go back to Gmail for context.

This would be huge! Yes you can send a email direct to click up task, however its messy. Then a email is responded too, and then all of a sudden that chain is missed. To link to a email would allow it to then always connected no matter the process in the email. In addition, it would allow for some automation practices to be much more efficient. To then even have Gmail be having ClickUp info would be huge!
