Clockify integration with ClickUp Api
Ziani JVR
We do time tracking through Clockify. Ideally, we would want to have one integrated system. Whereby Clockify is intergrated with the API. What is happening now, in order for it to have one system, we can only use Clickup browser. We ideal want one system.

Clockify Integration should sync with Clickup Time tracking
Roy Calderón
We tried Harvest and Toggl and besides tracking the time and storing it on their servers, it would also store those time entries into clickup system.
This doesn't happen with Clockify, who just tracks the Tasks in Clockify servers, but this is not reflected on clickup.

Agree, clickup is so close to having a time tracking tool that can replace third party applications, but it just isn't fit for purpose. An integration of the time tracking tool in clickup with clockify across all forms of the application would be ideal to fix this, but ideally they could just make the time tracking tool good for businesses that need to bill clients. Allows time to be recorded, reviewed/approved, edited by manager, ,past time sheets locked, and the ability to export the time sheet data. If it could do these basic time tracking features, in my opinion it would make clockify obsolete. In the absence of this, they should have a clean integration that also would create new projects in clockify when new projects are created in clickup.

I wish Clockify had a better integration instead they have a chrome extension and it leaves me as a user out of an option when it comes to the mobile or tablet experience.
I wonder if ClickUp has bi-directional API access to sync up times tracked from Clockify <-> ClickUp for users without a Chrome browser extension on a device that's not a desktop experience.

So Click Up just pretends to have an integration, receives the same feedback about the integration not being actually functional, for YEARS and they just do nothing?

This would be a very importanty development. Please sync Clockify and ClickUp as Toggl and ClickUp. So, when there is the ClickUp task ID in the Clockify task name than ClickUp track the time also that was track actually in Clockify (with that ID)

Please create an actual integration using the Clockify API that syncs back.
You are currently pretending to have an integration - which is not OK

Start/Stop internal timer with integrated timers

Hello,
We were using clockify to track time. Clickup integration works great with clockify.
But as time tracked in does not sync back to clickup, can we start clickup timer automatically when clockify timer is started.
Can we start clockfy time from clickup desktop app.

If there's a project in Clockify that matches the ClickUp folder, the extension will automatically select the project when you start tracking time so you don't have to do it manually. Extension can also create projects, tasks, and tags in Clockify based on information in ClickUp.

Horace: This is all fine but how do I get the time that clockify tracked to reflect back against my task in my Click up Time tracked?

Horace: Same here having the exact same issue. How do I configure it in the Time Tracked section in Clickup?
