I'd like the ability to sync events created in my Google Calendar and with my Outlook calendar back to ClickUp

We need the synchronization of the Outlook 2016 calendar.

We looked at clickup and like others were really impressed with it's UI and flexibility, but at the moment we have had to park the idea because of
A) the lack of 2 way calendar sync with microsoft,
B) the lack of integration with being able to take meeting/teams meeting already in your calendar and add it as a task to the system/ record that as tracked time
C) We added some emails to clickup using the outlook integration and the search only works on the subject - not the content/senders name/email address rendering it pretty useless
D) Goals are pretty much useless. I tried to set a goal measuring that at least 6 hours a day are "time tracked" - there are very limited fields that it can measure automatically in goals - you might as well write your figures on a spreadsheet.
I know clickup does not profess to be a CRM, but without these basic features you cannot easily track all the communication and work done relating to your projects.

Nathan Lock being able to include the time for a meeting as part of the workload calculation is essential.

In my agency, we urgently need bidirectional synchronization with Outlook. That is, that the calendar view of a workspace is displayed in the Outlook calendar

Joey please let us know ASAP. I love many features of ClickUp, I have been waiting for several years... making do with a combination of apps... but I am ready to switch because as many other users share in their comments, this is a very needed feature.

Joey Thank you for keeping this issue alive. A meeting is a task. How can we make the two worlds meet?
This is a big opportunity for how this works. I understand I can block off focus time, and that's a cool flexibility - but I really want to have my outlook events be able to have tasks associated and track the time either as billable/non-billable - and workload.
If an outlook meeting could be a sub-task that would be awesome! The estimated time could roll up, and billable tracked time could be there.
And the meeting notes then would be connected to the parent task.

Steph Ortiz and Joey- this is a very popular (and much-needed improvement) that has been requested for almost 4 years. What is the purpose of having us all create a new post and upvote the new one?

Christian Gustafson exactly. The whole support / create a ticket flow seems to be a tool for the team to squash feature requests. It was never really a plan to implement this. Its a difficult implementation but why "waste" time on things that would help people when you can milk your customers a few years longer and fool them with stupid AI tools that help no one. Its all just a big scam. Really thinking about moving away from Clickup.

Steph Ortiz My timeline with ClickUp:
Day 1: Start account, get excited about a decent UI and features
Day 2: Realize two way syncing to my every day calendars for work and personal life isn’t supported
Day 3: Comment on this thread and join 4K users asking for this.m
Day 4: Quit ClickUp
1 Year Later: Get notified that you’re actually shutting down a clearly popular request and the most critical feature for my use case.
At least I didn’t waste too much time with your product…

why has this request been closed? there are 4.3k peoiple who desperately want this.

With the new Planner feature, to be efficient we need to have task converted in event in outlook calendar. Please consider this ! Or a convert task to event option...

You would need tasks assigned to a user and with a deadline to appear in Outlook. Bidirectional integration is a must.

Two-way synchronization with Outlook is required from the iOS app. If you don't have it, the possibilities of 'integration' with the Microsoft ecosystem are greatly diminished. For us it is a 'must' with capital letters.
