any updates on this one? I'm keen to get outlook 2 way in click up

Hi Ricardo Clerigo
Right now for me guest aren't benefitting with this integration, It would be very helpful if guests could use te outlook calendar integration as the the outlook calendar help page states, because:
01- I cant get guests to add any outlook calendar on their planner while using my ClickUp Workspace they can't even add the outlook calendar I'm already using on my planner which they also have access; they get this error "GraphQL Network Error in SdApiService.graphql (Forbidden Error: EntApp)"
02- Also I can't get the outlook calendar to be displayed on calendar views, this would mitigate that they can't add the calendar to the planner.
For both cases I would like to know if:
A- It is planned that guests will benefit for using the outlook calendar on their planner?
B- Will I be able to have a way to show to guests my outlook calendar events on a calendar view?

Please, seems necessary..

I agree this has taken far too long and should already be implemented — but it’s worth pointing out that the biggest challenge here isn’t ClickUp’s dev team, it’s Microsoft.
Outlook and Exchange are notoriously painful to integrate with. Unlike Google or Apple, which make calendar integrations straightforward, Microsoft’s system is fragmented and full of legacy baggage. A simple task like adding a calendar event highlights the difference: Google and Apple give you a one-click “Add to Calendar.” Outlook? You’re often downloading a .ics file, importing it into settings, creating or selecting the right calendar, and then manually merging it into your existing one. Not exactly user-friendly.
On top of that, Outlook has multiple “flavors” — desktop, web, Office 365, Exchange servers — and they don’t always behave consistently. Authentication is another minefield, with tokens expiring or breaking in ways that cause endless support headaches.
This is why so many SaaS tools either avoid Outlook entirely or only offer limited features compared to their Google integrations. It’s not that developers don’t care or are dragging their feet — it’s that building and maintaining a reliable 2-way sync with Outlook takes a huge amount of ongoing engineering just to keep it stable. Even apps that appear to have smooth integrations are often doing a ton of behind-the-scenes workarounds to make it look seamless.
So yes — this should be a priority, and it’s overdue. But it’s also fair to recognize that Microsoft’s ecosystem makes this one of the hardest integrations to deliver and maintain.

Matthew Burt TBF we still don't have 2-way for Apple Calendar, or Gmail and Mail integrations. Or Safari plugin for that matter...
So at least Outlook users have something.

Ricardo Clerigo What it comes down to for me is being able to sync a calendar event in ClickUp for me and my guests if I include them. Currently, the only way I can see events is in a "shared calendar." It'd be great to get this in my actual user calendar instead and be able to have ClickUp be able to make an .ics for my guests.

Can we include assigning task from outlook to a ClickUp Team?

Mark Sandoval Ricardo Clerigo - This would be a great feature!

Mark Sandoval Yes, please! This would be a most useful feature. As it is, too many of our users keep sending work tasks via email and someone downstream has to take the time to move them over to CU as tasks. Giving Outlook based users the option to make a task as easily as writing an email would overall save time and effort.
On the other hand I don't think we need people modifying CU tasks from their Outlook calendar. I can see this causing issues within lists/dependencies/automations. Looking at tasks inside a calendar doesn't necessarily reveal how they are tied in to a particular workflow or process.
