Would like to be able to sort by status as a flat list in list view

When you sort by one of the column headers in list view, it will "flatten" the list so that the tasks get sorted together, regardless of what project or list they fall under. This is nice for seeing how different tasks compare with due dates or priority. However, there doesn't appear to be a way to do this for status.
For example, if I have List A, and under it are three tasks in different statuses, and List B with three tasks in different statuses, I want to be able to view the list view in a way that the tasks are _not_ broken out by list. I'd like the Open statuses for example in List A to sort right long with the Open from List B, etc.

I'd like to view all of my personal tasks according to their custom statuses, but disassociated from their parent Projects and Lists.

Definitely could use this feature! Most of my projects across all my spaces follow the open, planned, in progress, closed status types... It would be awesome if I could see all my tasks statuses so I could boil my 'in progress' focus tasks down to a single task across all my projects.

HUUUUUUUUGE. The list view is really difficult to work with when it's broken out by project. Being able to sort by the column categories is helpful, but status is more important.

+1 Sorting by Status for viewing all

This is huge for me! On a daily basis I am juggling multiple projects. I want to be able to see all of my in progress tasks for all projects together and all of my waiting on tasks together, etc without having to filter to one status at a time.
