The above URL links to a screen recording showing that I cannot work in both a ticket and Brain at the same time. (The above URL is the full link to the recording. Copy and paste it directly into your browser to view.) This is frustrating and counterintuitive. Whoever made the decision to change this was very wrong.
Another user reported the same issue, but ClickUp staff said they could not reproduce it. This video proves otherwise. The steps are simple:
1. Open a ticket.
2. Click the “Ask AI” button at the top.
The AI interface opens in the background, behind the ticket. It does not display side-by-side, which means I have to close the ticket to use AI—and then the ticket disappears. This makes it impossible to work in both at once.
This is a design regression, and it breaks the usefulness of Brain inside tickets. Please fix it so tickets and AI can be used simultaneously.
