We have a global team with different working hours and holidays. It would be great for admins to be able to set different non-working days or hours and label the schedules based on region. The user can select their region and that work schedule will be applied.

My team works in multiple countries. I use Work Schedule to plan days off and public holidays.

PROBLEM

Work Schedule lets me pick holidays by country, but it applies one country’s holidays to everyone. This makes availability and timelines inaccurate for global teams.

FEATURE REQUEST

1 - Set a country for each user:

Add a field in the user profile or People settings to choose the user’s country.

2 - Enable holidays from multiple countries:

In Work Schedule, allow selecting holidays from more than one country at the same time.

3 - Apply holidays automatically per user:

When holidays are enabled for multiple countries, each user should be marked unavailable only on holidays from their own country.

This would make timelines, workload views, and capacity planning accurate without manual workarounds.

Currently, the Work Schedule settings in ClickUp apply to the entire workspace, so all users share the same workweek, working hours, and non-working days. Our team would benefit from the ability to set custom work schedules for each user. This would help us accurately reflect different time zones, part-time schedules, and individual holidays or days off.

Why this matters:

Many teams have members in different countries or with flexible work arrangements.

Accurate individual schedules would improve capacity planning, workload management, and project timelines.

It would help avoid scheduling conflicts and ensure better resource allocation.

Example use case:

A global team with members in India, the US, and Europe needs to account for local holidays and different working hours. Currently, we have to manage this manually, which is error-prone.

I would like to request the ability to assign different holiday calendars to different users, teams, or regions within a single workspace. Currently, only one holiday calendar can be applied workspace-wide, which does not accommodate organizations with teams in multiple countries or regions.

Why this is important:

Our teams operate in different countries, each with its own set of public holidays.

We need workload and utilization reports to accurately reflect each person’s true availability, based on their local holidays.

Applying a single holiday calendar to all users leads to inaccurate reporting and scheduling.

Suggested Solution:

Allow admins to assign a holiday calendar per user, team, or location.

Ensure workload and utilization calculations use each person’s assigned holiday calendar to determine available hours.

This feature would greatly improve resource planning and reporting accuracy for global teams.

Currently you can only set the working week (eg: Monday-Friday) at a global, workspace level. This is fine as a rudimentary company wide setting but there needs to be a way for an admin to set an individual user's working week. We need to be able to see the days our part-time workers are unavailable in workload view.

At the moment, we are only able to change the hours worked in a week. Though this still defaults to the Workspace's Work Schedule (eg: Monday-Friday). That's not all that helpful when a project is due on Friday but that's a part-time employee's day off.

What if an employee has a 4 day week/10 hour days arrangement? Working week settings need to be added at an individual user level.

Please allow us to set a work schedule by team or space. It appears to only work on our workspace as a whole which is no use when we have colleagues working different shifts.
