Why does ClickUp's UI look nothing like the one advertised on the website? And can we get the one shown?
So, ClickUp is amazing for its functionality and what you can do with it. I use it daily and love it.
But the UI is terrible. It looks like a horrible, drab, boring, stale office that no-one wants to work in. And that honestly really affects enjoyment of the product and getting stuff done. Other apps out there are far nicer, and make you want to use them. Look at Nifty, for example.
But then you look on the ClickUp website, and it looks NOTHING like the actual app. The ClickUp advertising is compeltely different. It looks clean, fresh, modern, fun. The opposite of a drab office.
This is the ClickUp I want! I mean, look at the calendar view! Looks so nice! I am actually jealous of this ClickUp that does not exist, but is advertised.
Why can't we have it? Am I missing something? Is there some toggle button that will allow me to have this UI? Is it coming?
And, if not, why is it being advertised as being like that when it's not?
At the end of the day, I would love a UI that is more in keeping with what is on the website. It looks far better to use. Can we please get that?

Clickup would be more fun and enjoyable to use if views looked like these mockups

I'm probably leaving ClickUp because, aside from being slow and having a lot of bugs & weird functions, it's just drab. I'm visually oriented and it's a chore to stare at the ClickUp UI.

Not like the advertisement.

I downloaded this because in the advertisement it showed I could do like outlining or something that could help me organize my thoughts but I have no idea how to even begin. I see tasks and lists and notepad but nothing tells me how to get it with the little arrows and everything. It looks nothing like I saw in the advertisement.

Just want to say our Design Team sees this and hears you and we will be making this a focus for our 3.0 and beyond design!

I think the website shows us screenshots from the new Android app running on a Chromebook. The UI of the Android app is quite a bit similar to (if not the same as) what clickup.com shows us.
The black mouse pointer and weird hand tool are seen only on Chrome OS.

You should probably start out on the desktop app/site. I use it for all my personal professional organization, idea tracking etc. Don't give up just yet, Karma!

This has been bugging me for a while as well. I would enjoy using ClickUp so much more if it looked as advertized.
