The previous version of whiteboards allowed for text that could be different sizes in the same text box as well as bold and other formatting options. This being removed from whiteboard 3.0 has made it less readable

Quick update: rich text formatting (bold, italic, headers, lists) for Whiteboards is in final review and should be rolling out soon. This covers a big chunk of what's been requested here. For granular font sizing (specific point sizes, mixed sizes), we're tracking that separately — it's on our radar but not in the immediate pipeline yet. Will keep this post updated!

Thanks for the feedback! We have a Rich Text Formatting update currently in code review that will bring back inline formatting — bold, italics, strikethrough, and lists — to the Whiteboard floating toolbar.
We know that granular font sizing (beyond the S/M/L/XL options) is also a pain point, and that's something we're tracking separately. Will update this post as we make progress on both fronts.

Will these work within Sticky Notes? They are 99% of my Whiteboard usage!
Could also do with different font colours, banners, highlighting, bullet points, etc.

Also, still reeeeeeally need font sizing options other than Small -> Extra Large. Yes, we can drag things bigger, but this is not always useful (e.g., if you don't want a Sticky Note any bigger, but do want the text bigger) or cannot be done (text inside Shapes).
