Hey everyone!
I just want to take a moment and address some of the comments and also talk about our future 🚀
1️⃣ - We hear you. No one likes a half-baked feature. We had two options when working on this feature.
One was to wait another year until we get more feature parity and then release Whiteboards as a full feature.
Or
Two was to release a beta as soon as it's an MVP and iterate the whole next year in conjunction with our awesome community to make sure we're building the feature you want.
We opted for option two! Let me be very clear though. We will be supporting Whiteboards full force as it is being built by a team of fully dedicated whiteboard power users. Expect frequent releases, lots of improvements, huge emphasis on community feedback, and a lot of love poured into it. 💜
2️⃣ - We understand that Whiteboards might not immediately replace Miro/Mural/Lucid/etc. for you, and that's okay.
We believe there is a gap in the market for tools that perfectly marry creativity with productivity. Personally, I am a right-side brain kind of thinker and work better with unstructured/free-flowing types of workflows. We felt that adding this feature would enable us to utilize the power of all that ClickUp has to offer! We have plans to improve our existing Mind Maps with Whiteboards, introduce org charts, let you create visual workflows that take action on your tasks, add relationships and lots more.
Additionally, why pay for two tools if you're able to meet your needs all inside of one platform?
At the end of the day, we want to provide value and make something that we ourselves would want to use.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the conversation and I want you to know that I'll be keeping a close ear to the ground here to make sure we can address things that are important to you regarding Whiteboards.

To integrate RealtimeBoard with your basket random, you can create a new board for each project or create a single board that contains all the projects. You can then share the board with your team members and allow them to collaborate in real-time.

We are brainstorming on a process, and I'm not sure if the details below are not yet part of Whiteboard or we have not explored its full functionality yet:
- For the shapes to be adjusted the way I want it.
- To merge shapes of different colours indicating different actions on one process
- To insert a link within a text or shape

I really appreciate your attention.
The following are two of the most important features of a whiteboard (or blackboard):
- The ability to zoom in at high resolution.
- In addition, a trending feature is to have something similar to a pen-pad or a virtual tablet because ClickUp offers nothing for designers and artists with right-side brains.
There is a need for more than a noticeboard; we need a smart whiteboard with tools and buttons similar to Adobe's software family, CAD, etc.
If not, then at least the whiteboard could be synchronized with any of these software products or would simulate their features.

Michael Zach - ClickUp I would like to know this as well. This has been marked as "Planned" and "In Progress" since way before Business Plus was announced, but I fear this is going to be another feature locked behind Business Plus when Business users thought they would get it.

I understand people's perspective for simply linking to an existing product, but there is nothing like vertical integration. I'm pretty excited for this feature even though I'm sure it will be a half-assed rollout like MindMap - which, white board should just be part of. And probably not available for the basic plan..

I'd rather energy went elsewhere in improvements and then simply include a URL in your project to Miro board etc.
