When given Delete permission but Comment or View level access in a list, we want the members to not have the access to delete the tasks added. We see that it is enabled now

Gayathri N Just to clarify, are you referring to the Delete permission assigned at the role level?
Is your expectation that users with only Comment or View access should be able to delete only the tasks they created, or should they not be able to delete any tasks at all in those lists?
