I just noticed the change in timescales in Gantt view and in my opinion you just made the Gantt view almost unusable.
Having your Gantt timescale in "Week" doesn't mean you ONLY want to see weeks, it's just a comfortable scale in which you can plan out tasks for multiple weeks in advance, but where the tasks don't always match one entire week!
As you can see in the attached image, I have a task that lasts several weeks and I'd like to see it fit entirely in my screen, so I choose "Week". However, I have a due date for that task and now I can't easily tell from this view which day is my due date! Is it on wednesday? is it on thursday? I'll have to go check inside the task and open up the date option... to find out it's actually on friday, what? Turns out it doesn't even work with the "Hide and skip weekends" option.
It is also a bit misleading that the current time bar is set at the beginning of the week, as today is friday but the line suggests that the week is just starting.
The only reason I said it's "almost" unusable it's because I found a workaround for this. If you select "Day" and then click on "Zoom out" a couple times, you can get to a somewhat similar result as before. However in my specific scenario, the permanent settings for that view are controlled by the company where I work, so I'll have to find another view that fits my needs.
I really love ClickUp but I'm starting to worry that I'll have to move to another platform one day because ever since ClickUp 3.0 launched, all I've seen is changes that don't make much sense and have only damaged the quality of life and usability of features that were already perfect just like they were.
If you want to take anything at all out of this, just please take this: If you want to add features, do it without destroying previous ones. Add it as an option, not as an obligation, let the users choose what's best for them.
