Hello ClickUp Team,
I use ClickUp’s Mind Map feature daily to organize project structures and brainstorm ideas.
There’s one feature I would love to see implemented.
I’d like to have the ability to
group multiple nodes together
and
connect different nodes with arrows
to visually represent their relationships.
For example, during a planning phase, I might create nodes such as “Customer Needs,” “Competitor Analysis,” and “Idea Concepts.”
I’d love to enclose them as a “Research Group” and then draw an arrow from “Idea Concepts” to “Development Roadmap” to indicate a causal or dependency relationship.
Currently, nodes can be positioned freely, but there’s no clear way to express these logical connections, making complex mind maps harder to understand as they grow.
If grouping and relationship arrows were available, Mind Maps in ClickUp could evolve from a simple brainstorming tool into a powerful strategic visualization workspace.
ClickUp is already an amazing platform that has greatly improved my daily productivity.
I truly appreciate the development team for constantly evolving the product with the users in mind.
Thank you for creating such a fantastic service — I’ll continue to support ClickUp with enthusiasm!
