My main goal is to reduce overwhelm and unnecessary visibility for team members.

Today in ClickUp, if a user has access to a View, they must also see the parent Space, Folder, and List. This exposes a lot of structure and information that is irrelevant to most users and creates cognitive overload—especially in agencies and large teams.

What I’m requesting:

Please allow View-only access where:

Users can be granted access to specific Views only

The underlying Spaces, Folders, and Lists remain private and hidden

The View becomes the main UI surface the user interacts with

Ideal experience:

Admin creates a private List

Admin creates role-specific Views

User logs in and sees only the Views shared with them

No visibility of Spaces, Folders, Lists, or other Views

This would function similarly to Airtable Interfaces, where the structure stays hidden and users interact only with what’s relevant to them.

Why this matters:

Greatly reduces overwhelm

Improves onboarding and focus

Prevents accidental access to sensitive data

Eliminates the need for complex workarounds and duplicated Spaces

One-line summary:

Let Views be shareable UI layers independent of Space/List visibility.

Airtable has an interface view you can create which hides the whole workload of the rerst.
