Use Formulas/Custom Fields to update Task names

(From Facebook group) I am dynamically trying to update the task name by concatenating other fields, has anyone found a workaround for this? I know I can create another field, but I would like for this to behave like what AirTable does

I am adding my vote to this as well. I am trying to add a custom task name when a task is created via a ClickUp form. I have only found workarounds that do the job by not extremely well.

Adding my vote to this - some kind of find and replace mechanism would be so good to change +100 subtask names I have to change manually for monthly tasks

Mauro Rezende: as a caveat to this, this workaround doesn't carryover the original task's custom fields. User has to manually input the field

Maysie Medel: You are right. It's quite cumbersome to set it up and to maintain. Unfortunately it's the only way I've found to rename the task name at task creation.

This is huge for my team to be able to have better organized form submissions. We'd like to have two custom fields (a dropdown and an address field) populate as the task title as a way to keep our form submissions cleaner rather than Form Submission..... Thanks!!

I recently acheive this with integromat (now make.com). Using a free make.com account I can rename an existing task when triggered from CU automations or triggered from make itself.
Sometimes if I have the task open when the change occur it is ignored en the actual task name remains. but in the task activity shows the action made.
