Use Date Custom Fields in Calendar View

I would like to be able to create date ranges based on custom dates so that I can build calendar views that are not based on start/due date fields.
My use case is that I'd like a calendar view showing when campaigns are LIVE, so we can easily see them, see what campaigns overlap, etc.
Right now, you can create this view, but only based on start/due date fields, but these dates are not always the "campaign live dates", they are changing due dates based on the stage that the project is at. Aka start date = when work started on the project, and due date = when everything (including post live tasks) conclude, not the actual dates of the campaign.

This really should be a feature. Being forced to use the TASKS start/due date is super limiting and adds additional noise to the calendar when stacking multiple tasks/tags or the like into one view.
Allowing custom date fields to be displayed gives the user the ability to show a publishing view of the work being done, without exposing the working timelines. This is critical for sharing information on campaigns with stakeholders (internal and external) via the calendar.

The requirement to use custom date fields in the calendar view is really practical, especially for tracking campaigns and migration strategies at tap road making it easy to identify important time periods and overlapping campaigns!
