Usability Issue – Custom Fields Panel Covers Workspace
Mike Morrison Architecture
I’d like to report a usability issue with the custom fields management panel. When I click the three dots (•••) and select “Custom Fields” in a list, the panel that opens is so large that it covers all of the underlying information and tasks in my workspace. This makes it very difficult to reference my tasks or follow along with information from ClickUp Brain or other sources while managing custom fields.
This design makes it challenging to efficiently review, edit, or remove custom fields, especially when I need to cross-reference task details or recommendations.
Could you please consider making the custom fields panel resizable, movable, or less intrusive

Hi Mike Morrison Architecture - thanks for reaching out and sharing this feedback. I assume that you are referring to the Custom Field Manager modal that opens? I'd love to know more about your use case, what kinds of actions you are taking inside the Custom Field Manager, and what info you want to reference from your tasks/lists as well. Cheers!

Caroline Ginty - I have Brain making suggestions - and when I try to follow along with the suggestions and open the custom fields, it obscures my entire workspace. Attached screenshot. I experienced the same frustration when viewing attachments in a task - when the document opens, it obscures the entire workspace and Iam unable to reference any other tasks or information.
