Even if the new ai token blocks could be consumed my brain and not just the automations… Like most, only a handful of users in my org would benefit from clickup brain. To charge per number of total seats makes this feature unjustifiable.

Please make ClickUp Brain available per user or role, not just at the team level :( . In real teams, not everyone needs or wants AI features — but some of us depend on them every day to move projects forward!!

Giving us the flexibility to enable Brain individually would make it far more valuable and practical. It would let teams adopt AI where it truly adds impact, without forcing it where it’s not needed.

Please offer AI for certain seats. It is a huge cost to take on when only 1 or 2 people need it. We don't plan to upgrade until this becomes available, so I think moving toward that option would be a good business decision for Clickup to offer it to the people like us who are waiting.

Absolutely correct! If anything, it makes sense for individual seats, but not for the janitor, who is almost overwhelmed by the use of the software anyway.

We have a workspace of 30 users, but only 6 are part of my company. That means at the moment ClickUp would FORCE me to pay about DOUBLE the monthly price for EVERY user in my workspace to get access to AI tools, while 80% don't need or want these features or are not even part of my company.

Alternatively, I simply don't get AI access at all and loose productivity.

That's not very customer friendly and close to a dealbreaker, which leads to team discussions about moving the entire project to other platforms like Jira, Asana or MS365, where customizsation is available.

I really hope the option to choose AI access per user will be implemented soon as otherwise we will simply leave, and it would be sad, cause i like ClickUp.

Definitely a must have. The level of use of ClickUp is really different from user to user and a lot of them don't want/won't use the AI features. At 14 euros per month, it's almost as much as ChatGPT pro...

As a small business owner I want to use AI and Brain, but do not have the ability to pay for all the users. If I can pick and choose who gets it I would upgrade today!

Please bring this feature! I am the only developer in the team, no one else justifies the AI cost.
