Unlimited Guests for Paid Plans
not on the roadmap
Kelly Wittman
I would love to have unlimited guests for paid plans. As a solopreneuer creative, I work with multiple clients at a time and the limit of only five guests is quite frustrating.

What a shame this doesn't seem to be being considered. I think this is often important for smaller companies who tend to work with lots of other small clients. Having used Monday I was surprised that ClickUp was so limited in this way as it a great way to work with my clients, but wouldn't be viable to have to pay for my clients to collaborate with, and given I have just the one paid account, the current arrangement just isn't really designed for people like me.
As has been stated elsewhere, even if we could purchase guest packs would be a better solution to basically where we have no real current solution. Shame as I am often talking to businesses that don't have anything like ClickUp already, and as small businesses themselves, they need systems to work in a similar way and with good guest facilities again.
I don't really want to use Monday but I guess if something more similar to ClickUp was to come along with better guest facilities, I would have to consider changing.

I have this exact same issue. I'm on the Business plan, and only have a Guests limit of "10". This is VERY restrictive as a contractor who works with multiple clients, too, as it doesn't allow me to scale my use of ClickUp very well.
As a contractor and ClickUp user, I would like to invite unlimited guests, or at least have a much higher guests tier, so that I can invite and collaborate with clients in one place, without restrictions.
While the alternative would be to have separate accounts for each client, this is why that is not always ideal:
- Many clients are new to ClickUp and don't have the time or interest in project management; and rather just want it for visibility.
- For the more collaborative clients, I would eventually transition them to their own ClickUp acccount as they adopt the platform.
- I may be sharing "Docs" only with guests, such as a sales or project proposal, and those guests don't always convert to customers. So it prevents me from being able to scale ClickUp for that use, and have to rely on other software such as Google Docs and PandaDoc instead. 😕

I'm exactly in that same position. I also think clickup are missing a trick here: Many of my clients are looking for decent PM systems and being invited as a guest to a platform they'll start using by collaborating with me is likely winning them over to buy into the platform for their own staff and clients. If end up paying for my clients as guests, I'm less likely to introduce them to Clickup in the first place.
There has to be some give here, Clickup-people. Guests are a great lead gen tool for you. Why make your premium customer pay for it?

I have seen other project management tools that offer this and when running a business not having unlimited guests for paid plans truly is frustrating and extremely extremely expensive

It has been almost 4 years! Why has this not been implemented yet?

This is one of the most frustrating limitations of clickup. Hell, I'll even pay for guest "packages," but I need this feature yesterday. I didn't realize this limitation existed when we signed up and now we have the same exact problem as Kelly Wittman - we have 70 clients, each of which will eventually need multiple guest users, and the current method would require us to add a separate registered user for every 5 guests. Obviously not reasonable.
We love clickup, but this will be an absolute dealbreaker which will cause us to migrate away from the platform unless resolved in very short order.
