Every time I use the universal search (Cmd+K), the Status filter resets to "All." I almost never want to see closed or inactive tasks in my search results, but I have to click Filter → Status → Active every single time.

Please add one of the following:

A setting to change the default search status filter (e.g. default to "Active" instead of "All")

Have the search remember my last-used filter between sessions

This is a small change that would save a lot of repetitive clicks for anyone with a large backlog of completed tasks cluttering up results.
