From support ticket: Is there a way for me to claim ownership of folders where we had someone help out by setting them all to private with specific sharing permission. (I'm already a full member on the folders)

Absolutely critical feature - for larger teams with more complex processes, there will be someone else setting up specific lists and then transferring the ownership. Without this feature it is not possible

I’d like to upvote this feature request. The ability to transfer ownership of Folders and Lists is crucial for our team’s and client's workflow, especially when responsibilities shift due to role changes, team restructuring, or offboarding. Without this feature, we face challenges in maintaining proper access control and accountability, which can lead to confusion and delays in project management.
Additionally, it would be highly beneficial if this transfer of ownership capability could be extended to Docs as well. This would ensure that all key assets within ClickUp can be properly managed and reassigned as needed, supporting seamless transitions and better organizational continuity.

I agree - we need this as our integration creates new lists for all of our guests and we need to transfer ownership! This would be a huge help. Thanks.
