Toggle between "real" comments and all activity - just like in Trello - and/or go furhter

That a custom field has been updated, or where a task originated from, etc. can reduce productivity, so a possibility to toggle between "real" comments and all activity - just like in Trello - would be great.
Ideally customizable in Settings what belongs to which of the 2 groups:
Ex.: Custom fields A, B and C - to be considered as "real" comments, whereas all other custom field activity can be hidden/displayed only when selecting "all activity".
What about multiple groups. Ex.
1) strictly user typed comments only
2) cf. 1 + custom fields A, B & C
3) all activity
Add read/unread and/or marked as important comments filter to either group.
Comments/discussion welcome.

You can filter the Activity View to be whatever you want, but you have to do it every time (which makes it not very helpful). It would be great if you could dynamically turn your current set of view filters into a new short Icon on the right-hand panel, that would apply those "saved" filters. Then you could filter to only Comments, label it as "Only Comments" and then see it as a new icon on the right-hand panel FOR ALL TASKS.

Also, when I view comments, I would like to see responses and comments all together sometimes.

Agreed! I only want to view Comments, and wish that Comments were separate from other Activity. Short of that, I'd love to be able to select my preference for what is tracked/displayed in the Activity pane, or have the ability to
save
a filter so that I don't have to filter out everything except the Comments from the Activity every time I open a task, or at the very least be able to delete items in the Activity pane.
