Timesheet Calendar View
Vaidas Ainis Morkūnas
I wish it was possible to see the time that I spent on doing tasks each day in a calendar view.
This would help me quickly and conveniently understand how much time I spend each day on tasks on a weekly basis in a visual way.

Toggl does this very well - it makes it extremely easy to see what you may have missed. The ability to drag and drop entries onto this would be ideal but the handy MVP would just be plotting entries you've made onto a calendar as it would still allow for quick audit.
Overall three things this needs over time:
- Time entries plotted onto a calendar (as a user, I want to see if I have gaps in my tracking)
- Ability to show your calendar alongside (as a user, I want to see if my tracked time aligns with my calendar blocks)
- Ability to drag new entries onto this (as a user, I want to be able to quickly add new time tracking blocks directly into the calendar to fill gaps)

When recording timesheets, it would be useful to see the time bookings for the current day in a calendar view format, from the start of the day to the end of the day, so we can see easily for any gaps in the day. And to be able to view the week of timesheets in a calendar format.

Time Tracked goes on calendar on home page

Would love to have some kind of hourly calendar view of how I actually spend my time according to time tracking. Would also be interesting if you could elect to have time tracked adjust the times you put stuff on your calendar (start and end times). Like say I told myself I was gonna work on task 1 from 10-12 today, so I estimated 2h & dragged it onto the home page calendar. But then I didn't start till 10:30, but I finished at 11:30. Would be interesting if the calendar adjusted to what I actually did, and showed me the difference between my estimates and what it actually took (I guess I could create a formula field for this last part?)

To elaborate on this concept, I made a similar post about visual data reports & time tracking.

This feature is crucial for my complete move on ClickUp! It is a must have! How come it has so few voters?!

Yes please! I do not always start my timer when working on a task or I task jump. When I go back to make sure my time is entered it is difficult to fill in the gaps which leads to overlap, errors, and just an inaccurate timecard.

Yes to this request!!! I was just having the same conversation with a colleague today! Trying to ‘see’ what parts of our days have been accounted for is basically impossible without a daily agenda view of the time entries.

Thanks for the feedback, Robert!

Agreed - this would be very useful. Often, I would spend x hours on a particular task on one day, and y hours on another day and so on. When i record time against a task, I would like these 'time blocks' reflected in the calendar view. At the moment, i shying away from using time tracking due to this limitation.

I agree. A requirement to switch timetracking 100% to ClickUp, trying to but finding without calendar view can't see where gaps are when not on a specific project.
